Mliae blogged about Kapow Meggings a while ago, and in the comments there was a mother’s remark that her son was horrified by the sight of them … but took on skinny jeans in the following months.
I could not help but mention a pair of meggings that I bought from asos a while back. In my opinion they very much blur the line between skinny jeans and meggings.
Asos was selling them in light grey, khaki, navy and (of course) black. Unfortunately, I only got them in grey and khaki, now that they are sold out, I wished I got them all … and some replacements π
The fabric is not as stretchy as my other meggings (this is the nature of twill as far as I know), but it’s very thin and … snuggy π To allow for some room and movement, the waist is cut more relaxed than usual. It has no pockets and no zippers or buttons. You just put them on, like you do with your regular sweat pants.
The gallery below shows shots of the twill meggings in light grey and khaki, but also contains some shots of a light grey skinny jeans (H&M), can you tell the difference? They look really similar in my opinion.
I even feel so comfortable in them (the skinny jeans and the meggings) and with them, that I already wore them to work a few times. Hooray π Let me know what you think in the comments, and if you could spot the difference π
Take care,
Andreas
P.S. as you can tell, the photos were taken a year ago, my hair was a lot shorter then π
The shots in front of the canal were the skinny jeans, the others were all with the asos twill meggings.
You literally canβt tell! They look really stylish π My son wears his skinnys with long line t-shirt as well π
Great post!
